Condeco is a locally owned coffee shop serving up baked treats, desserts, salads, bread, smoothies as well as a variety of interesting dishes in addition to your standard lattes and other espresso drinks. They have got a lot of winners here in terms of food. My husband was dying over his chicken pesto pizza and I was rendered momentarily speechless by lovely moment I had with a cream puffed pastry.
Opa
Real authentic Greek food is a glorious thing. There is just something truly magical about creamy, tangy Tzatziki sauce over meat, salad, and pita bread. We visited Opa during the week when they were running their happy hour special where you can get 30% off alcoholic drinks. We enjoyed our wonderful crisps beer with a basket of French fries, lamb, tzatziki sauce and Greek salad.
Graffiti Café (Södra Förstadsgatan)
Recently under new ownership, the Graffiti Café Malmo opened up for the second time on July 5, 2018. They have an inside sitting area as well as an outside terrace area. The café at the time of writing is currently running special on their lattes where you can get one for about 15kr. They offer everything you would come to expect from a coffee shop from cappuccinos to café Olay as well as a variety of flavored syrups you can add if that is something you would like to do to your coffee.
Linh Nails

They offer fashion made for varieties of bodies, not just skinny models. In their catalog, you will find many kinds of body types as well as colors to suit almost everybody’s taste in swimwear.
Triumph Malmö Södergatan
Triumph Malmö Södergatan is Malmo’s local answer to Victoria’s Secret. They offer premium lingerie, swimwear, sportswear, loungewear and casual wear for today’s modern successful women. While the shop is nowhere to go for a budget item but they do have some beautiful pieces that a woman of prestige and success is sure to adore and perhaps desire to take home with her.
Designtorget
Designtorget is a well-known home décor center with a nice following of Malmo locals and fans from all over Europe. It is a store that plays with a dynamic of very dark spaces and very light spaces. In a way that it kind of reminds me of what an indoor camping would be like, with deep forest green, rich browns and cool slate graze alongside signature pieces such as a round lamp designed to look physically similar to a hand lantern but with a modern twist.

The Välfärden- kok & kaffe is a cafeteria-style restaurant serving up gourmet European, Swedish, and Scandinavian styled cuisine with an interesting but limited menu. Guests have commented that the interior is set up a little bit like a school cafeteria with that same iconic lunch line that might be reminiscent of your childhood.

Malört Tatuering & Underjordisk Kultur is a well-respected tattoo shop in northwest Malmo. They specialize in a verity of styles but have a tendency to produce great work that airs a bit on the surreal side. They can handle almost any kind of request, be it some large bright and colorful without any thick black lines, or deeply detailed black and gray- be that a portrait or an illustrative piece. The artists at this shop definitely have a loud and distinct style, all on their own.

DOC Italiano
When you think of an Italian restaurant you might picture chequered tablecloths, long white candles, and brick walls. However, DOC Italiano is not really what you expect. Like most restaurants in Malmo, it was designed in modern style with large open windows and a light spacey floor plan.
Asuka Sushi
There is something very fitting about having fish by the water. Asuka Sushi is by no means an authentic Japanese restaurant but to say their dishes were not absolutely delicious would be a bald faced lie. They offer all the most well known Japanese dishes such as Sashimi, Nigiri, Gyoza, Yakiniku, Miso soup, Maki rolls and even a popular modern edition the Sushi burrito.
DOC Piazza
Doc Piazza is an Italian restaurant with large open windows located near the water. It is a middle range priced restaurant. Locals flock to Doc Piazza for their amazing pizza. Some even claim that Doc Piazza has the best pizza in all of Malmo and to no surprise it is a hot spot for Malmo’s real pizza lovers.
Restaurang Glasklart
Restaurang Glasklart is a good place to have lunch at during the week. It is one of the many busy lunch restaurants in the Dockan area. It has one of the highest ceilings in Malmo. The building has glass walls on all side providing patrons with almost a good view almost anywhere they sit.

The First Hotel Jörgen Kock is primarily a business hotel and has very good reviews online. Its only a five minute walk from Malmo central station and is also less than ten minute walk from main square shopping area. For those who needed the First Hotel Jörgen Kock has super fast Wi-Fi with speeds topping 30mbps, which is of course complimentary.
Plectrum Malmö
A small restaurant located inside the Comfort hotel, Plectrum Malmö is an interesting fine dining experience. If you come there in the morning for the breakfast, you’ll likely see a lot of hotel guest there for the breakfast buffet. But aside from that time Plectrum Malmö is quite the upscale establishment.
In the Pink
Vegetarians, vegans, health food nuts, I have found the perfect café in Malmo for you. In the Pink is a well rated recently opened health food café and coffee shop looking to appeal to kale lovers all over the city. They do all the specialty diets be it paleo, keto or even gluten free.
Spazio
Spazio is a restaurant located in the food court section of Malmo station. Its great to grab a quick meal or snack, or to take it on the go with you as you travel! As its name suggests they serve up Italian dishes. You can get anything from paninis, pastas, lasagnas, calzones or even mini pizzas at a very reasonable price, usually between 85Kr and 100Kr for the majority of the dishes that they serve up.
Sájvva
Avocado fanatics rejoice! Sájvva is about to be your new favorite restaurant in Malmo. They describe themselves as Indian, international, contemporary vegetarian fusion and vegan friendly.
Broderstugan Kök & Bar
Located less than 15 minutes walk away from the touristic center of Malmo, Broderstugan Kök & Bar is a welcome reprieve from the crowds and noise in the middle of town. If I have to classify it, I’d call their food broadly European but they have a reputation of being very vegetarian-friendly making it a good spot to bring a large group of friends with varying taste and preferences. Most people who come to experience the Broderstugan Kök & Bar don’t come in with high expectations but they seem to always leave with the utmost respect for the kitchen.
Syltan Kök & Bar
Although Syltan Kök & Bar is considered by the residence of Malmo to be a dive bar, it’s a bar that really makes me want to dive right in. I am not even a dive bar kind of person. They have a really interesting design to the bar, with brick walls copper colored signage, it has a kind of hip industrial feel that you don’t find at lot of other places.

Heralded as a collection of creatives, nerds and digital producers, the community at the Ground Co-Working Space has on offer a really different environment for free lancers in the city of Malmo.
