The cozy corner restaurant Armacia is a charming and warm family-owned establishment located near Slottsparken Park in a small little canal. There is just something really magical about being cooked for by a welcoming Italian chef and served by his family members. Scattered throughout the restaurant are these little cute plant holders made out of empty wine bottles. The restaurant itself is a cool collection of slick dark grays and brown against warm cream walls. If you come during the day, they offer a buffet lunch option with small plates set up so you can sample just everything from the menu. At the end of the buffet, there is always this charming fruit basket stuffed with things like plums, mangoes, oranges and of course two bottles of wine to hold everything together. However, the time to come to Armacia is for dinner.
You must start of any choice you make at an Italian restaurant with a great bottle of wine. I won’t go into too much of detail about their selections in this regard, however, make sure you ask your server to recommend a great one for you according to your preferences in sweet or dry wine. As far as dishes, Armacia has everything you could possibly want from an Italian restaurant. They have everything from cheese and meat boards, with delicious prosciutto, salami, mozzarella, and pesto, to mussels in rich tomato sauce and variety of pasta and flat Italian pizzas. Make sure for dessert you sample their lemon cheesecake.
