Have you ever wished that there was an eatery in town that would have a dedicated place for your young children to entertain themselves while you grab a bite (and perhaps a break)? Café Jesusbaren was thinking of you when they designed their eco-friendly and charming establishment. They have a corner of the café dedicated to children with toys, puzzles, and games to tempt even the most rambunctious child to sit and play. The restaurant is situated just next to the people’s park “Folkets park” that is also worth a visit, both for grown-ups and children. Decorated with Latin American posts and vintage artwork, the café has a distinctly Spanish vibe that is hard to find elsewhere in the city of Malmo. Frequent patrons of Café Jesusbaren come back again and again for the reasonably priced gazpacho and other Latin American dishes. However, unlike other Spanish or South American establishments, Café Jesusbaren is well known for its vegan options! So it’s an excellent place to stop by for some food if you happen to be with a vegetarian or vegan companion.
Some complain that the café is a little echo-y and that they don’t have the most comfortable chairs and pillows, making it less than ideal if you’ve brought your laptop to get some work done. If you are coming by car, you’ll be glad to hear that there is parking out front, making it unnecessary for you to go hunting for a spot far away from the cafe.
