Condeco is a locally owned coffee shop serving up baked treats, desserts, salads, bread, smoothies as well as a variety of interesting dishes in addition to your standard lattes and other espresso drinks. They have got a lot of winners here in terms of food. My husband was dying over his chicken pesto pizza and I was rendered momentarily speechless by lovely moment I had with a cream puffed pastry.
I could definitely see this as a spot that we would come back to if we wanted a respite from Sweden’s bitterly cold winter weather. All of their food is made with certified organic ingredients and there are definitely more than a few options for your vegan or vegetarian friends certainly a lot beyond salad anyway. It is not a huge location but I will say that it is quite comfortable.
Before I had my private time with the cream puffed pastry, I also took the opportunity to sample and critic one of their pastry and a creamy pumpkin soup. Let’s just say it all passed the test. My husband is a bit of coffee snob; he had a double espresso and was quite pleased with what they served him in comparison to the price. The friendly staffs were more than helpful in making our selection and best of all they spoke English. If you come to them a bit late be advised that they might not be able to serve you everything you want close to closing time. After all, a pizza takes sometimes to bake.
If you are in the heart of the city and looking for a place to rest, Condeco Malmo is a good choice for you.
