These restaurants are self described as “urban jungle food and drinks” and I don’t think it could be said any better. There are three locations throughout Göteborg and each is a unique and uplifting experience. The food has as much personality as those creating and serving it. This makes for new treasured memories, no matter which location you choose.
Two of the locations, on Linnégatan and Magasinsgatan, are pan Asiain cuisine. Meaning plenty of spice, seafood, sushi, and treats from the wok. You will indulge in all the flavors of the East like ginger, lemon, and sesame with dishes like the baked watermelon or Korean rice cakes. Finish it off with coconut sorbet or a chocolate and banana sundae, that is if you have saved room.
The newest addition to the Hello Monkey line is The Italian fusion restaurant on Kyrkogatan. Here you get the same Hello Monkey energy and zest for life with some new and exciting dishes. This means flavors like the Asian spices you know and love from the other two restaurants, yet expertly blended with the creamy cheeses and aromatic sauces you crave from Italian cuisine.
The fusion is quite special and unlike anything you have tried before. The selection is varied and oh so tasty. They have gyoza you can pair with a pizza that is topped with shrimp and cabbage. While it may sound too out of the ordinary for some, the adventurous customers that have jumped head first into this fusion can never go back to the life they led before.
