John Scott’s Palace is, if I had to use one word to describe it, incredible. Actually, mesmerizing is more accurate. Although, extraordinary sounds a little better. Let’s just say it cannot be described in one word so I’ll use 252 words.
The building itself is an incredible and massive structure. From the outside it brings to mind the huge plantation homes you see in New Orleans. On the inside it is a picture of sophistication, which is to be expected as the original Scott family that resided here used their home as an art gallery. However, despite the elegance of the decor, the atmosphere is lively and energetic.
The staff creates this vibe with their easy smiles and friendly professionalism. They are amazingly knowledgeable about the ever changing and diverse menu. They are fast and attentive, ensuring every visit here is absolutely wonderful.
The palace is available for lunch, dinner, and late night drinks. It is also a great venue for your large parties and available for catering. The large space is perfect for company parties and weddings and there are classic rooms for smaller events as well.
The food is fantastic. They have a great variety of burgers made with everything from beef or chicken to falafel or fish. If you are just here for quick drinks and snack after work, the nacho plate is perfect for sharing and gossiping with a beer from John Scott’s own brewery. That’s right, did I forget to mention the even brew their own beer?
