The dining experience at Koka can be described with one word: exciting. The food is unique and expertly prepared. The service is extraordinary. Finally, the restaurant itself is sleek and beautiful. When you bring it all together it is a mesmerizing adventure that you will never forget.

Beginning with just the design of the restaurant, you will already be impressed by its elegant simplicity. The deep and rich colors are warm and inviting while remaining sophisticated. The light wood throughout the dining area  gives you the clean feeling of a country cabin on a spring day. The same feeling, in fact, you get from the delicious dishes they serve.

The chef’s philosophy when it comes to cooking here is to allow the raw ingredients to do the work for them. Where many restaurants focus on a cut of meat or the catch of the day to build a meal around, at Koka they work the other way around.

They start with fresh seasonal vegetables and allow the meat or seafood to be a complement to these flavors. Many of their dishes are, or can be made vegetarian. A great example is the mackerel with lentils, kohlrabi, and horseradish. This comes on both the five course and seven course menu. They also offer a three course menu for those with less of an appetite for divine cooking.

In addition to the food they have specialty drinks and wines to go with your meal. If you are having trouble choosing, the knowledgeable staff can always help.
