Whether you are fortunate enough to be staying at the Dockyard Hotel or just happen to be riding or walking along the quayside, Reveljen is a lovely escape from the big city noise and hustle. The restaurant is a perfect stop for a simple and refreshing lunch, and elegant dinner, and even a beautiful breakfast with a view.
The area is gorgeous so you can relax in the restaurant for a while or take a walk while digesting. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They are knowledgeable and attentive to each guest despite the restaurant’s large size.
The menu changes often to feature special ingredients that can be found locally and seasonally. At breakfast you will find a buffet of fresh treats like vegetables, cheeses, oatmeal with all the toppings you could imagine, fruits, and plenty of pastries.
The lunch specials change daily and there is always at least one vegetarian option like chickpea stew with curry and coconut. This also always includes the salad buffet, bread, soup, and a beverage. Finally, at dinner you can expect plenty of fresh seafood options like the grilled salmon or Dockyard shrimp. If you are not a fan of seafood, try the Oumph Burger (available in a vegan option) or veal steak with risotto and fig sauce.
The dishes are perfectly balanced and delight all of the senses. Paired with the relaxing and cosy atmosphere you will be wishing you could move here permanently.
