Rustik Bistro gives you the class and sophistication of fine dining in a comfortable atmosphere and without the “fine dining” prices. The food is reasonably priced, especially for the quality and innovation in each dish. To add the cherry on top of an already fantastic place, the staff is super friendly and helpful as well.
The dining area is not huge but it is cosy and feels spacious despite the size and popularity of the restaurant. You can come with a large group, but it is best to book ahead if you do. In fact, it is best to book ahead no matter how big or small the group is.
The cuisine consists of classic Swedish recipes prepared in modern and stylish ways. It is a diverse menu yet they seem to make each dish perfectly, leaving everyone satisfied and wanting more.
If you want to taste the full variety of the menu you can try their three course menu. Perhaps create your own, if you want to ensure you are tasting the dishes you will love most.
I suggest starting with the steak tartare, made with gruyere cheese, truffle mayonnaise, and pickled beetroot. After that you can switch to seafood and delight in the mussels in a white wine and cream sauce with goat cheese. The crispy sweet potato pairs surprisingly well with this. For dessert, the creme brulee with raspberries and almonds is hard to beat.
Don’t forget to ask your waiter which wines or cocktails to pair with your food as well.
