From small beginnings as a cafe back in 1986 to the powerhouse restaurant that stands today, Tvåkanten has grown and improved for more than 30 years without an end in sight. The owner is passionate about creating food that is artistic in both looks and innovation.

The theme is modern Nordic cuisine. They keep things simple by purchasing the finest raw ingredients from local producers whenever possible. The chefs also use classic and traditional Swedish recipes prepared with modern ideas and techniques. The result is something unexpected and remarkable.

When designing their unique dishes they combine ingredients to allow the natural flavors speak for themselves. This gives you the full taste experience without any distractions from unnecessary additives.

In the dishes you will be excited by combinations like truffles with gruyere cheese or seared veal tartare with oyster emulsion and Jerusalem artichokes. And those are just the appetizers. For entrees they have intense flavors like beef tenderloin with baked egg yolk and onion mustard creme. The ingredients are purchased fresh daily from small local producers and prepared in house by experts with years of diverse experience.

The restaurant has several dining rooms great for an intimate meal for two or corporate parties. There are indoor and outdoor options for seating, each area with its own particular charm. For hockey fans they even have special packages to get you hyped up before the big game or to sip and snack after the action.
