international marriage between a Thai wife and Muslim husband with a passion for Southeast Asian cuisine, who have settled down to enjoy Swedish life in Malmo. It is probably one of the only places in Europe where you can find Halal Thai food.

Meals here are meant to be eaten family style with an abundance of many plates in the center of your table and spoons to go around and share the lovely aroma of Asian spices on your table. However if this not your cup of tea, it is entirely possible to order individual plates as well. Something that makes them special is that they have many Asian sodas on sale to have with your meal, sorry no alcohol is served, I really recommend you to try one of these sodas, and they are really interesting.

On our visit, we ordered fish yellow curry, deep-fried shrimp, curried vegetables, spring rolls and two nice bowls of white rice. We also tried one of the sodas but I don’t remember the name. Thai food is such a fragrant and wonderful cuisine. Having been there myself once, I can tell you that this restaurant is fairly authentic but is definitely adjusted for Swedish taste preferences. The restaurant is quite sizeable therefore coming with a large group is definitely something that can be accommodated. While we were there, we dined alongside a lovely family of 12 from Malaysia.

The restaurant is very vegetarian-friendly as most of the dishes are curry and you can definitely order them without animal products, just make sure that you tell the wait staff any special dietary requirements. They are very friendly and are able to accommodate any reasonable requests from their guests. Make sure you come hungry because the portions are quite big by European standard. A lot of guests end up taking part of their meal home with them to eat the next day.
