At this restaurant you come for the fondue and stay for, well, everything else. Every aspect of the experience here is fantastic.
Let’s just start from the beginning. The building and restaurant is beautiful inside and out. The climbing vines surrounding the entrance put you in an elegant mood and that is compounded by the warmly lit interior and gorgeous fireplace. There is plenty of comfortable seating, which is great because the cuisine brings in droves of guests so it is in your best interests to make a reservation, even on weekdays.
As previously mentioned, they are famous for their fondue combinations and rightfully so. The signature option is beef with eight sauces. I won’t name them all but some of the most exciting are Cajun, Bearnaise, and banana.
As easy as it is to fall in love with the fondue and never try the rest of the menu, this is a mistake. They put care into preparing each dish with fantastic ingredients and fascinating combinations. Some favorites are the salmon tournedo with lemon Hollandaise sauce or the fillet of deer. They also have a great salad bar and vegetarian lasagna for those that refrain from meat.
The daily specials are something to look forward to each week and you can get the specially designed three course meals if you want to bundle the meal into something unique. Each comes with a starter, main course, and dessert and are created by the chefs to provide the best flavor experience throughout.
