A small restaurant located inside the Comfort hotel, Plectrum Malmö is an interesting fine dining experience. If you come there in the morning for the breakfast, you’ll likely see a lot of hotel guest there for the breakfast buffet. But aside from that time Plectrum Malmö is quite the upscale establishment. Malmo has a lot of really great restaurant but if the weather is lousy or if you are too tired to leave the hotel, Plectrum Malmö has you covered and is not a terrible option for dinner whatsoever.
As to be expected the prices are a bit steep and are not above a level that most business travelers cannot cope with perdiem. The restaurant doesn’t serve Swedish dishes but rather has quite the international faire making it a good break if you’ve been eating a lot of Swedish food. They have a really nice view from the restaurant of the city if you go there in the morning.
You can watch the sun peek out from over the tops of the city buildings. At night the same windows will give you quite the pretty sight, of the streets and the businesses lit up quite beautifully. Something really interesting about Plectrum Malmö is that some of their cocktails, quite good by the way are served with small little led lights either on the glass itself or inside the drink making them visually very interesting to look at. I particularly like the way the red drinks looked. So if you feel like going back in time a little bit and hanging out in the hotel, Plectrum Malmö may be the place to do it.
