Located in the Vasastan district of Stockholm, the Bierhaus Beer & Sausage Hall prides itself on offering up authentic, traditional German food, along with German and European beer, in a classic beer hall setting that combines the best elements of a contemporary pub with the Bauhaus style of the 1930s.
In the dining room, Bierhaus serves up the best of German food culture, with rustic, artisan dishes that include staples like homemade sauerkraut, pickles and slow-cooked meats. Start out with appetizers including leek and potato soup, bratwurst, beetroot, or pretzel with mustard, and continue on with schnitzel, schweinshaxe, currywurst, roasted pork belly, or steak. You can even save room for the apple strudel for dessert!
But of course, the main claim to fame of a Bierhaus is going to be the beer, and they have the beer! Beer on tap, beer in bottles, non-alcoholic beer, even some wine, schnapps and other spirits. There are beer tastings available for both companies and private guests, and if you have a large party drinking or dining for the evening, you can order your own cask to be tapped at your table.
The Bierhaus is even the home of the Frequency Beer Works Tap Room. Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Bro, just north of Stockholm, Frequency Beer Works produces world-class craft beer, and the Tap Room inside the Bierhaus serves up their creations along with good music and other events.
