According to some, Bistro Bestick, at 3 Bryggargatan in Stockholm’s Norrmalm district, is hands-down the best restaurant in the entire city. With a philosophy of offering high-quality food at reasonable prices, many patrons would attest that the venue meets that intention and more!
Located in a rather non-descript building in the heart of the city’s business district, Bistro Bestick serves up traditional Swedish dishes in addition to internationally-inspired cuisine in a charmingly lovely but still informal space. Friendly and helpful wait staff provide exceptional service and help make your visit one to remember!
Using local ingredients for a menu that changes with the seasons, Bistro Bestick prepares their food fresh from scratch. There is a set lunch menu available weekdays 11:00-14:00 for 139 kr or 129 kr for take-out, but a vegetarian option and traditional meatballs are always available for a bit more. Dinner is served Monday through Saturday 17:00-23:00 (the restaurant is closed on Sundays) and includes a la carte offerings such as hand-rolled meatballs, kohlrabi, cod, lamb and sirloin steak for about 300 kr a dish. Traditional fare, including steak tartar and blackened salmon, are available as starters, and there are 3- and 5-course meal options available for 535 kr and 735 kr per person, respectively.
Bistro Bestick offers an extensive selection of beverages, including a lengthy list of liquors; beer; cider; sparkling, dessert and port wines, along with traditional red, white and rose, and several international varieties; as well as coffee, tea, juices and soft drinks.
One of the more popular venues in the city, a reservation is strongly suggested.
