The clean, linear designs of the venues may have you thinking you’re walking into a Scandinavian-style eatery. But the Latin music playing in the background and eclectic elements of the décor will soon tell you differently! Located in quiet areas of their rather busy neighborhoods, the friendly staffs, welcoming feel and candles on the bars and tables provide a cozy and even romantic atmosphere to the lively spaces.
Priced reasonably for the downtown Stockholm area, Bistro Boheme actually offers a variety of tapas styles, including Mexican, Italian, Hungarian, and Swedish, along with in-house classic dishes, main courses, and a weekday lunch at the Norrmalm location. Beef, lamb and seafood selections are available as well as vegetarian options. Tapas prices range generally from about 80-115 with main dishes costing around 150-300, and delectable desserts are available with many praising the eateries’ signature crème catalane. An impressive beverage list is available at both locales with a nice selection of beers and wines, numerous spirits, and classic and unique in-house cocktails.
The Sodermalm location opens early for lunch on weekends but otherwise starts its operations at 16:00, while the Norrmalm venue is available at 10:30 Monday-Friday, 11:00 and 12:00 on weekends. Both locations have outdoor seating for the warmer months but get busy quickly so you might want to make a reservation.
