The newly renovated Blå Porten returns in summer of 2019, just as delicious and even more beautiful than ever before. After a long closure to remodel and update the interior they are reopening with the same passion for great food, beautiful views and friendly service.
The restaurant offers a variety of sweet and savory pastries and quiches for breakfast. This is served alongside artisan coffees and fresh juice.
At lunch you have a plethora of traditional favorites to choose from. The meatballs have always been a favorite and never cease to set the soul at ease with a single bite. They also have a diverse selection of seafood items each made with fresh, locally sourced fish. In the interest of pleasing all of their customers they are returning with even more vegetarian and vegan options were previously on the menu.

The experience all starts with the famous and vibrant “blue gate” for which the restaurant is named. Topped with gold stags and accented with gold details, the gate itself is something to behold.
