Fasching is, first and foremost, a celebrated jazz club. It is a place where emerging talents, big names, and local favorites have been coming to showcase their talents for years, and luckily for us there is no end in sight. The staff and customers are music lovers and come day after day to hear what is hot at the club.
Schedules can be found online for all of their upcoming acts. They include many genres that fit into the larger jazz spectrum. For example, on a Friday night you might hear a funky Cuban salsa and soul fusion ensemble. On Saturday, there could be DJs mixing jams from the 60’s and 70’s. Then during the week they could slow things down with a solo artist, just a girl and her voice that could move you to tears.
If the musical acts don’t keep you coming back for more, the food will. While you enjoy the sounds from the stage you can savor a premium charcuterie board or vegetarian carpaccio. If you’re staying for dinner the menu is filled with traditional Swedish treats and wine and cocktails to pair with it.
